Background
The IEEE Central America & Panama Council is also known as the CAPANA Council, and was formed on 7 December 1982. this Council encompasses the following sections:
- Central America Section ( 1970 - 1981)
- Costa Rica
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Nicaragua
- Panama
