- The number that follows the interviewee's name is the interview's oral history code number, which uniquely identifies the interview in the IEEE History Center's archive. Please use this number when referring to an oral history.

The Control Systems Society has conducted a number of other interviews which have not yet been transcribed or accessioned as part of the IEEE Oral History program. These interviews were shot on video and widely vary in terms of audio and video quality. Some interviews, marked with an asterisk, can be difficult to properly hear the subjects at points. Conversation also switches to current events, and some interviews are conducted by a panel.
