Biography

J. Lynford Beaver graduated from Lehigh University in 1904, and received his MS and Sc. D from Harvard in 1921 and 1932, respectively. He taught at Drexel for ten years, was appointed a professor of electrical engineering at Lehigh University in 1931, and was appointed acting head of the electrical engineering department at Lehigh in 1940. He was a Fellow of the AIEE, served as chair of the AIEE Lehigh Valle Section and served as a vice-president of the AIEE from 1928-29.
