Biography
After he served in the U.S. Army, Dan Greenwood earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley, USA, and received his master's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. He held research positions at Aerojet Corp., Mitre Corp., Motorola and TRW Systems.
Mr. Greenwood worked on many projects including algorithms for air traffic control systems and high-altitude electronic warfare systems.
He founded Netrologic in San Diego, Calif, which develops neural networks and obtained contracts from NASA, the National Science Foundation, Advance Defense Research Program and the U.S. Navy. Mr. Greenwood was president of the Lunar Solar Power Coalition, which promoted a solution to America's energy problems by collecting solar power from the Moon and beaming it to Earth.
Greenwood died on January 6th, 2002.
