Born February 1931 in Buffalo, NY. From early age fascinated by airplanes and took aviation mechanics course in High School. Few jobs available in 1948 so I joined the Navy who changed my interests to electronics. Attended electronics school in Memphis and then assigned to Electronics Test Center at Navy Test Center, Patuxent River,MD. That led to Flight School, Pensacola,FL but eye problems shortened that. My oldest brother encouraged me to attend college,University of Buffalo after working missile flight testing at Bell aircraft till 1955. BSEE in 1962, joined Sierra Research as student engineer in 1960, Radar design, Then air navigation systems, calibration of ground navigation systems. VP international marketing for company. In 1991 joined BF Goodrich as VP engineering,Columbus, Ohio. Finished career at Sierra but then did consulting for Fredwal Corp. After it closed opportunity to provide similar radar calibration target products resulted in opening Amherst International LLC in 2010 to present. For contact I can be reached at 716-689 9537.
