Retired after 41 years as engineer, systems engineer, program manager and business development manager for Lockheed Martin and predecessor companies in Minnesota. Predecessor company names include Remington Rand UNIVAC, UNIVAC, Sperry, Unisys,Paramax, and Loral.
Current interests include capturing the corporate history of the first truly "commercial" computer company in the US, Engineering Research Associates (ERA). ERA was the founding company, later merged into UNIVAC, which spawned much of the technology and many of the companies in the early computer industry. Early corporate artifacts are being collected and transferred to the Charles Babbage Institute.
