About the Interviewee

Bill Rogers talks about his experiences as a radio intercept operator at the Vancouver Wireless Station at Boundary Bay Airport, Delta, BC, Canada. The Vancouver Wireless Station is a historical treasurer and was used to intercept Russian radio communication during the cold war era. He also lived in the Canadien Forces Base Ladner community, now called the North 40 Park Reserve. In addition, Bill worked at radio communication stations in Hey River, North West Territories; Port Radium, North West Territories; Ennadai Lake, Nunavit and Fort Smith, North West Territories.
