Approval of this proposal

This looks like a very strong proposal. I will be seeing the proposer, Mort Hans, and will just clarify the plaque location. --Mike Geselowitz

I am the advocate for this proposal, and agree with Mike that it is a very strong one. What particularly makes it interesting is that two engineering societies are involved: the IEEE and the AIA. The proposal is, I feel, well-thought out, and well-documented. I note how many organizations, both commercial and government, were involved in making the blind flight highlighted possible. I wholeheartedly support its approval.

I have fristly learned from the Proposal about the first attempt to fly airplane with relying only on electronic instruments. This will make an interesting article for IEEE Spectrum.

I support the Proposal.
