Harry Green


Biography

Harry Green held an academic position at the University of New South Wales and was the Dean of Engineering at the University of Adelaide and was the Chief of the High Frequency Radar Division at the DST Group, both in Canberra and in Edinburgh. As an expert in Applied Electromagnetics he was a prolific publisher in IEEE and other journals. In his latter years he was awarded a D. Eng. by the University of Adelaide in recognition of his collected works.

Green was a former IEEE Region 10 Director (1983-84), the Chair of the IEEE SA Section (1989-91), and Chair of the Australia Council (1992).

Green passed away on October 19th 2020.
