Hi David, The fields under "organizational unit" are missing the names of the officers, the proposers, your email, etc. can you please fill those items in? Then it looks complete to me, only one additional comment: the citation is very long and as it is supposed to be engraved on the plaque, could you leave the entire one as a reference/rationale, but summarize a shorter version? Names of organizational unit
I suggest just dropping the last phrase, "including those for game consoles, smartphones and tablets. It really doesn't add much. Otherwise, it looks like a good proposal and a worthy milestone.
"Widely used today" seems to be a poor choice of phrasing for something cast in bronze. Perhaps it could be revised? I agree deleting the last phrase makes sense.
I support this as a Milestone worthy proposal.
This proposal has my endorsement for approval.
I support the milestone; however, I suggest editing the last sentence as follows:
CURRENT: "...RISC-I influenced instruction sets widely used today, including those for game consoles, smartphones and tablets."
SUGGESTED: "...RISC-I influenced the design of instruction sets used for game consoles, smartphones and tablets." --Dave Bart
I support the milestone and reinforce the aforementioned citation revision.
