Artist’s depiction of an SC-2 radar installed in a destroyer. The SC-2 was a later version of the SA/SC-1 and featured a plan position indicator (PPI) built into the operator’s console. The SA/SC-1 did not have a PPI; only an A-scope. The small antenna atop the main array is the IFF antenna. From FTP 217 p.15
