Dr. Michael Paraskevas was born in Greece in 1964. He received an degree from the University of Patras, Greece in 1989. In 1995 he received the PhD degree in techniques using perceptual model of human hearing. His current research interests are in techniques, signal theory, analogue and digital communications, and services, as well as in the exploiting the ICTs in the . He has published more than 30 scientific articles in international magazines and and also he has participated in scientific of international magazines and . He has extensive professional experience on issues regarding planning and implementation of large scale network infrastructures, electronic services and exploitation of ICTs in and manages a large number of corresponding development projects. In implementation of these projects, Dr Paraskevas have dealt extensively with issues of public supply . He is the Director of the Directorate of Greek School Network (www.cti.gr/nts) at Computer Institute and Press “Diophantus” (www.cti.gr/en). He is also Assistant Professor at Engineering Department of Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece and teaches the courses of Analogue Communications, Digital Communications, , Information Society and (laboratory).
