Schmid and Boas publish Kristallplastizitaet

In 1935, Erich Schmid and Walter Boas published Kristallplastizitaet, which details 15 years of research on plastic deformation of metallic single crystals. This led to a much better understanding of plastic deformation, a critical property of metals.
