IEEE Kitchener-Waterloo Section
This section is located in Region 7 and was formed in 1973. The Kitchener-Waterloo Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers serves all members whose mailing address is located in the Bruce, Grey, Perth, Waterloo and Wellington counties, including the cities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and Stratford in the Ontario Province.

In March 2010, a chapter in the IEEE Photonics Society was established.
