Russ Theisen developed the [RT] Remote Terminal and [BCU] Bus Control Unit for the Mil-STD-1553 serial data bus and it was used to develop the PAVEPENNY System test. This was used on the A-10 Thunderbolt/ Warthog that the Air Force used.
